Big Ups for all the people phoning in during this show for the Afrobeat set, nice to see people digging Fela. We warmed things up with a little reggae and hip-hop flavours then got deep into the African riddims with a bunch of brand new edits of classic Afrobeat tracks. My pick has to be K Civ's killer edit of one of my favorite Fela tracks Teacher Don't Teach me Nonsense (we heard a slightly different 12" party mix on the show). Ended the show in club bass territory, rinsing Calgary's A-Mac's magnificent moombahton anthem that you should all grab, love, dance and reapeat to:
