April 27 Dubble Bounce CJSW 90.9 FM Track List

A cool Friday in Calgary starting things off on a future soul tip, playing some slowed down screwed R'n'B. Played a cut off the new Moombah Fiesta 12" that has too be my favorite version of Fela Kuti's "Water No Get Enemy" ever, and there have been some killer remix's of this classic:




The excellent future dub/ reggae /dancehall sound-system Jahtari just put out a wicked new compilation of tunes called Jahtarian Dubbers 3. We heard two cuts off it tonight from Ranking Levy (dig the killer jam above!) and the Jahtari Riddim Force themselves. Ran through a lot of bass heavy hip-hop tonight before ending things off with some banging jams including the debut cut from Sleepin' Giantz. This is a new collaboration / super group effort from UK OG badman artists: Zed Bias, Rodney P and Fallacy. Can't wait to hear more from this crew soon. Got some wicked new BASS/ techno/house tracks to share with y'all next week, so tune in again for sure!
